The crust was rock-solid and there was plenty of snow and I knew exactly where I wanted to go: Spencer Glacier. I had been up here a couple of years ago, but on that day the crust was softening quickly, so we didn't stay long. Today I wanted to explore Spencer Lake and the glacier more.
