We flew into Denver on Thursday morning, then drove 4 hours west to Grand Junction. We stopped into a mountaineering store to get recommendations on where to hike, bike, eat, camp, etc and the guy we talked to was great. He gave us a complete blueprint

The next day we rented bikes and went for a ride on the Kokopelli trail system in Fruita (10 miles from Grand Junction). Fruita has some of the world's best single-track biking.

You should have seen us ride down this part of the trail - its amazing what we can do on full-suspension bikes. (no, we didn't really ride down it. This was one of the few sections we had to walk).
