We also rode up in the helicopter. You can hike in, but it takes 3-5 hours. The best way to do it is to fly in, and hike out. About an hour and fifteen minutes after leaving home in Anchorage, I was on the glacier and anxious to ski!

The grooming is very good. They have both a piston bully (!) and a snowmobile which they use to set tracks. Both machines proved to be a bit tempermental, but they never stopped the coaches from setting very good trails for us.
