Me and my teammate Brian. We were originally supposed to be a three person team with our friend Martin, who introduced us. But Martin had to work at the last minute, so Brian and I decided to do it, even though we had just met.

The start was chaotic. We were given maps about 5 minutes before the start and had to copy the race course route onto the maps very quickly. This would come back to haunt us later when we weren't sure if we had drawn the line correctly.

Brian and I ended up being well-matched for this race. He was a little faster on the bike and I was a little faster towards the end of the run, but overall we were able to go at a pretty fast pace that was comfortable for both of us. Our strategy was to
