At the end of the road (literally) in Hope, a trail follows the coast for about 5 miles before it deadends right here at Gull Rock. Taking in the view of Turnagain Arm.

I wonder why it is called Gull Rock?

Rainbow over Hope.

We camped by the river Saturday night. It was quite a party...the one bar in town had a band, the RVs were packed in and people were all over the river looking for pinks. We found a tiny alcove in the trees to pitch a tent amongst the chaos.

Hiking on Sunday. We drove up to Swetmann Mine area south of Hope. We followed a trail next to this stream up to a hanging valley with alpine lakes. It was very nice and peaceful.
