This map shows what we were aiming for - that big white dome in the upper middle part of the map. I'm not sure of its name, but I've been calling it Willow Dome. I had been scoping this thing on the maps, and looking for a way to get there. It just looked like incredible crust skiing! As we drove up the Hatcher Pass road we decided that our best bet was a snowmachine trail just after the bridge over Willow Creek. (As you can see from this map, there are a few small hills in this area that look like they would have good skiing: gentle grades, wide open views, decent access).
