Labor Day weekend 2005. Linda had Friday off, so we had four days to play. Unfortunately, the weather didn't look like it would cooperate. The forecast was sunny on Friday, then rain for the rest of the weekend. We decided that we would do a short overnight hike in the Peters Hills area west of Talkeetna. After all, during autumn in Alaska, if you can get one sunny day and one rainy day, thats better than average.
