On Monday morning I finally went skiing. The snow at McLaren Summit had frozen overnight, but the sun rises here at 3:00 AM, so even though I got there at 7:30, the snow was already soft and punchy. I did find one spot that had firm, fast crust and I was able to ski for about an hour. It was fantastic skiing (for May 30th)!
