At 6 am on Saturday morning, Linda and I, and 700 other skiers, boarded the Alaska Railroad for the annual Ski Train. The train ride was a three hour trip to a place called Grandview. Grandview isn’t town – there is nothing there. It is just a remote spot in the middle of the Alaskan mountains that happens to have unreal skiing. Once in Grandview, everyone gets off the train, and skis all day.
